Terms of Service
The terms and conditions for using Doqubox.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. General
These terms apply between you and Aer Software Solutions B.V. (KvK 27332530), which provides Doqubox. Using Doqubox means accepting these terms.
2. Permitted use
Use the service lawfully. Do not send illegal or harmful files, spam, phishing, or misleading information, or undermine security.
3. User responsibilities
You are responsible for accurate data and files and for protecting your login credentials and access rights.
4. Privacy and data protection
Our privacy policy and security page describe data handling and safeguards.
For processing on a customer's behalf, accepting these terms includes the DPA and its general written authorization for subprocessors. The DPA takes precedence on that processing.
5. Fees and payment terms
Pay using the indicated methods. Late payment may lead to suspension or termination.
Ordinary cancellation gives no refund for unused subscription time. If service ends early under DPA sections 8 or 15, prepaid fees for the period after termination are refunded. Statutory refund rights remain unaffected.
6. Subscription
Subscriptions are paid in advance, adjustable monthly, and renew for one month unless cancelled at least seven days before renewal. That cancellation deadline does not apply to termination under DPA sections 8 or 15.
7. Intellectual property
Doqubox's software, branding, and other service content belong to Aer Software Solutions B.V. or its licensors. You retain ownership of your files and grant Doqubox a limited license to process them to provide the service.
8. Liability
We make every effort to keep the service secure and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
For paid subscriptions, Doqubox's total liability for an event or series of related events is limited to the fees paid or payable for the affected service during the twelve months preceding the first event. Doqubox is not liable for indirect losses, including lost profits or business interruption.
Free accounts are provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Doqubox accepts no liability arising from their use.
These limitations and exclusions do not apply to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not restrict individuals' statutory data-protection rights or the refund rights above.
9. Termination of the service
Subject to our obligations under the DPA, we reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time without prior notice.
- Remove accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms on our website. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
Subprocessor changes follow DPA section 8; changes to DPA rights and obligations follow section 15. Publication or continued use does not replace those procedures.
11. Disputes and governing law
Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
